Games and video
The sounds for the games will work only if your computer has a Sound Card.
To play
Carpet Kids
and
Landmines
, you must be using a Web Browser that can run Java programs. Most versions of
Internet Explorer
and Netscape can do this. However, for Netscape the Java option may have been turned off, in which case you should turn it back on again. You should go to the Edit menu, select Preferences, click on Advanced, and make sure that "Enable Java" is ticked. If your Internet Explorer will not run Java programs,
to download Microsoft's virtual Java machine.
Landmines
does not at present work on a Mac computer with Internet Explorer, though it should work on a Mac with Netscape.
When playing
Carpet Kids
, if you click outside the game window at any time, the controls to move the figures won't work until you click again inside the window. With some very old Web browsers, there may be pauses when you first start playing the game before sounds are heard.
For
Sneaky Snakes
your browser must have a Flash plug-in. Most do; if yours doesn't,
to download and install the plug-in.
To play the
videos
you will need RealOne Player; if you haven't already got it installed,
to download a copy.
