Zamira's story
Zamira, 8, came to live in the United Kingdom when she was just a baby. Her mum and dad used to live in Kosovo, in Eastern Europe, where there has been a lot of fighting between the Serbs and Albanian people.
Zamira's parents are Albanian, and ran away when a group of Serbs attacked and destroyed her grandmother's house. Many other Albanians have been treated unfairly by the Serbs in Kosovo, and didn't get the chance to have good jobs, or to go to good schools and hospitals.
It wasn't safe for Zamira's family to visit Kosovo for a long time. Zamira went for the first time last year.
'In Kosovo, my family has got lots of chickens and a big dog like a wolf,' she says. 'One of the chickens followed me round, but then my grandmother told me they had eaten it! Lots of people live there: my uncles, aunties and cousins. I like it very much in Kosovo. I have lots of friends there and I miss them when I'm in England.'
