Wednesday 20 February
Today I went to Len Len's school. It was fantastic. I learnt how to plant rice, which they grow at school to make sure they have enough to eat. I also went to one of their English lessons. In the afternoon we rode on a carabao, which was very exciting.

Thursday 21 February
I went to Happy Land, which is a very poor part of Manila. Sister Nancy, a nun, showed me around and introduced me to Michelle. She is 13 and has nine brothers and sisters. She peels garlic every day to sell in the market. I helped her peel some.

Peeling garlic quickly is tricky!

Friday 22 February
Today we visited a school that is very passionate about the environment. I planted a tree, and they showed me how they recycle rubbish. They had four separate rubbish bins for the different types of rubbish like plastic, cans, and paper.

Saturday 23 February
Our last day! We went to my gran's house and then my whole family (22 of us!) went to Mega-Mall, a famous shopping centre. We played lots of games there, including my favourite, Dance Revolution. Then we went to Jollibee, a Filipino McDonalds.

That night it was time to leave. We went to Manila Airport, said our goodbyes to everybody and left.
