Wednesday 20 February
Today was a big day for all of us. We were going to Fouta, about 300 miles away. I spent the whole journey thinking about arriving there. Would it have changed? Perhaps I'd have some new cousins. Lots of stuff was going into my brain and out again. When we arrived, it was 10pm, so we had to go to bed. I couldn't wait for the next day.

Today I went to Moumba, the village where many of my family live. When I arrived there everyone greeted us. They were so friendly that I really felt like I had come home. We saw where my dad and my grandparents were born. We also saw a very old mosque, and I was impressed by how well looked after it was.
Friday 22 February
We visited another village by crossing a very nice river. We went to a little school where the pupils were learning a Senegalese language called Pulaar.
Saturday 23 February
Today was Tabaski day, when all Muslims, including me and my family, pray to God. After praying in the Mosque, we went to my family's house. We killed a sheep to eat, which is traditional on Tabaski day. Madina did the barbecue with my uncle, and I filmed my family.
I was feeling sad about going back home. It's so nice in Senegal.
