Friday 5 July
I went to the market to see my auntie. I helped out in her shop, serving the customers and weighing the things they wanted to buy. And at the end I got paid. Excellent!

Saturday 6 July
I met a girl called Lilly. She showed me around her house, and as she had finished doing her housework she showed me how to play basketball. Later on we had dinner with her mum and dad. Mum and I stayed the night at Lilly's house too. It was fun.

Sunday 7 July
I went horse-riding. It was really good fun. Later on, we went to the cemetery where my grandad is buried. We tidied the grave and left some flowers there. And in the evening we went to church.

Monday 8 July
I went to school in the village with Lilly. The lesson was in Spanish, and a local language called Quechua. The lesson was about the animals people have at home, so the children had brought in their pets, like puppies and cats!

After lunch we went to a special statue. You can see the whole town below you, it's really beautiful. Then I had to finish my diary and we had to pack our bags.
