Trade should protect the environment
Big plantations can be bad news for wildlife, too. Lots of these blue plastic bags, which are used to cover growing bananas, get washed down rivers to the sea. There, turtles think the bags are jellyfish and try to eat them and suffocate as a result.
This makes Barni, 12, really angry with the banana companies. He often walks on this beach, where turtles come to lay their eggs, and picks up rubbish
