Hemmit's Diary
Thursday 21 March
I spent all afternoon packing my bag. Mum spent all day looking for hers! The Wales towel she bought me stank of fish and the smell went all over the house, ha ha!
Saturday 23 March
I had to wake up at 5am to get the plane. I felt a bit queasy and I had butterflies, probably because it was my first ever flight. I loved the flush in the toilet just suction, no water cool! We tried filming in the cockpit, but the captain of the plane wouldn't let us.
Tuesday 26 March
We went to the fruit market early in the morning. It was very dirty and smelly but not too hot. There were flies all over the fruit and vegetables. It was very hard to film. No one had seen a camera before and they were all crowding around.
Then we set off to see a small temple. I bought some food as an offering to the Gods.
Check me out in the temple, here.
It was very hot so we went to swim in a natural pool. It was great and so cool. Later I went to play cricket with some boys who lived there. It was fun.

I was shocked that I had to sleep on the floor in a house in the village. I only had to sleep there for one night, but the people who live there have to sleep on the floor every night. Respect!
